Kevin Charles (Pro) Hart, (1928 - 2006). An absolutely stunning extra large original oil on board by an Australian iconic art legend. This is a wonderful example of Pro Harts use of the tradition bush scene with bright vibrant earthy colours in traditional Pro Hart format. Titled 'Road to Mine' (Circa 1975) the artwork has been signed lower centre 'Pro Hart'. This vintage painting is in its original 1970's double frame, finished in cloth and distressed gold tones with some light markings. The painting itself is in very good condition for its age with some very light damage to the base of the board. Provenance: Deceased Estate Sydney. A beautifully sized piece for the discerning art collector.

Bio
Kevin Charles "Pro" Hart, MBE (30 May 1928 – 28 March 2006), was an Australian artist, born in Broken Hill, New South Wales, who was considered the father of the Australian Outback painting movement and his works are widely admired for capturing the true spirit of the outback. He grew up on his family's sheep farm in Menindee, New South Wales and was nicknamed "Professor" (hence "Pro") during his younger days, when he was known as an inventor.
