Kevin Charles (Pro) Hart, (1928 - 2006). Original oil painting on board by an Australian legend. This is a lovely example of one of Pro Harts more colourful floral artworks, a wide disparity from his outback mining, racing, insects, beach or swamp scenes. Titled 'Flowers' the artwork has been signed lower right 'Pro Hart'. Vibrant colours in traditional Pro Hart format. . The black frame features an acid-free charcoal mat board. The painting is in excellent condition and protected under glass. Minor wear to the frame. Provenance: Private collector Victoria, Leonard Joel Auctions VIC. A rare opportunity to collect an original Pro Hart from his floral series at a very affordable price.

Bio
Kevin Charles "Pro" Hart, MBE (30 May 1928 – 28 March 2006), was an Australian artist, born in Broken Hill, New South Wales, who was considered the father of the Australian Outback painting movement and his works are widely admired for capturing the true spirit of the outback. He grew up on his family's sheep farm in Menindee, New South Wales and was nicknamed "Professor" (hence "Pro") during his younger days, when he was known as an inventor.
