A vibrant original oil painting on board by Australian art legend Kevin Charles (Pro) Hart, (1928 - 2006). Price includes official Certificate of Authenticity and Valuation from David Hart Galleries and a valuation of $4,700. This is a wonderful example of Pro Harts use of earthy tones to capture the Broken Hill landscape. Titled 'Broken Hill Mine' the artwork has been signed lower right 'Pro Hart'. The frame is the traditional 1970's frame. The painting and frame are both in excellent condition. A beautifully sized piece for the discerning art collector. If you have ever wanted to own a decent Pro Hart for a great price, this is the one!

Bio
Kevin Charles "Pro" Hart, MBE (30 May 1928 – 28 March 2006), was an Australian artist, born in Broken Hill, New South Wales, who was considered the father of the Australian Outback painting movement and his works are widely admired for capturing the true spirit of the outback. He grew up on his family's sheep farm in Menindee, New South Wales and was nicknamed "Professor" (hence "Pro") during his younger days, when he was known as an inventor.
