Kevin Charles (Pro) Hart, (1928 - 2006). An original oil on board by one of Australia's most prolific outback artists. The artwork is titled 'Broken Hill Landscape" and features a rolling paddock, aqua blue mountain ranges with an open gate, fences and trees in the foreground. Signed lower left 'Pro Hart' it features vibrant earthy tones in traditional Pro Hart format and has the official Pro Hart DNA verso #78694. The frame is a traditional 1970's cloth and antique bronze gold frame and in excellent condition. Provenance: Private collector WA. A wonderful opportunity to acquire an original 1970's Pro Hart in excellent condition at an affordable price without the auction fees.

Bio
Kevin Charles "Pro" Hart, MBE (30 May 1928 – 28 March 2006), was an Australian artist, born in Broken Hill, New South Wales, who was considered the father of the Australian Outback painting movement and his works are widely admired for capturing the true spirit of the outback. He grew up on his family's sheep farm in Menindee, New South Wales and was nicknamed "Professor" (hence "Pro") during his younger days, when he was known as an inventor.
