Kevin Charles (Pro) Hart, (1928 - 2006). Large original oil painting on board by an Australian iconic art legend. This is a wonderful example of Pro Harts use of the tradition town scenes reminiscent of his racing series, with vibrant colours in traditional Pro Hart format. Titled 'Street Footy' the artwork has been signed middle left 'Pro Hart'. A beautifully sized piece for the discerning art collector. The frame is the traditional 1970's double frame finished in cloth and pewter tones. The painting itself is in excellent condition. Provenance: Private collector Victoria. Please note this artwork is located in Victoria.

Bio
Kevin Charles "Pro" Hart, MBE (30 May 1928 – 28 March 2006), was an Australian artist, born in Broken Hill, New South Wales, who was considered the father of the Australian Outback painting movement and his works are widely admired for capturing the true spirit of the outback. He grew up on his family's sheep farm in Menindee, New South Wales and was nicknamed "Professor" (hence "Pro") during his younger days, when he was known as an inventor.
