John Guy (1944-2000) One the finest large original paintings on canvas from this highly renowned Australian bush artist. Titled 'Bus Stop in Main St '(Mundubberh, QLD, C:1930), this really collectible piece is signed lower right 'GUY' and titled and signed verso. Beautifully framed in it's original 1970's frame with cloth trim and in excellent condition. A wonderful piece of Australiana to add to you art collection.

Bio
Born in Launceston, Tasmania in 1944, John Guy was an Australian Postwar & Contemporary painter. He worked as a commercial artist, film producer and newspaper executive prior to 1976 when he became a full-time artist. A painter of stylised bush and historical works he exhibited widely in Queensland and in Sydney.
