John Cobby (b.1957), "Grandpa's Pride" is an original oil painting on board featuring a traditional outback bush scene, rich in the outback's earthy tones and loads of activity. Signed lower left 'Cobby' and titled and signed verso. John is best known for his original 'Aussie' iconic paintings and this on is one of the best. An oil on board in the same ilk as Max Mannix, Pro Hart and Frank Harding. This impressive painting is in excellent condition and beautifully framed in bright brushed gold, white mat board and gold inlay under UV protected perspex.
