John Cobby (b.1957), "Camping With The Kids" is an expansive original oil painting on board featuring a traditional billabong camping scene, rich in the outback's earthy tones and loads of activity. Signed lower left 'Cobby' and titled and signed verso. John is best known for his original 'Aussie' iconic paintings and this on is one of the best. A large oil on board in the same ilk as Max Mannix, Pro Hart and Frank Harding. This impressive painting is in excellent condition and beautifully double framed in white and brushed pewter. Cobby does numerous large paintings, but a real rarity to find a Cobby of this magnitude with this level of detail. Its a real showpiece!
