Gloria Petyarre Born:1945, is regarded as one of Australias finest Aboriginal artists. From the Utopia region in the Northern Territory. Language, Group: Anmatyerre. Title of this artwork is 'Bush Medicine Leaves'. Medium: Acrylic on triple primed canvas. Comes Stretched, framed and ready to hang. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity along with photo's of Gloria with her finished piece and signing it. Perfect to put with the Polly Ngale piece also framed the same. Her work can be found in National Gallery of Australia.

Bio
Gloria Petyarre, also known as Gloria Pitjara was born in 1942 in Utopia, Northern Territory, Australia. She was an Aboriginal Australian artist from the Anmatyerre community, just north of Alice Springs. One of her best known works is "Bush Medicine". Petyarre started as an artist in the Women's Batik Group in 1977, which was launched by the CAAMA (Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association). She continued her artwork through her paintings, while also working with one of her six sisters, Kathleen Petyarre. Petyarre died on 8 June 2021 in Alice Springs.[
