This is one piece you will want to own! An absolutely stunning and expansive original oil painting on board by renowned Australian artist D'Arcy Doyle (1932-2001). This large and unique investment artwork is titled 'Work Day' and is signed 'd'Arcy W. Doyle' lower right. A country scene featuring horses and a drover in the morning mist amongst the trees. The light and shade in this piece is outstanding! The piece is in excellent condition with its original 1990's gold and grey designer frame with double internal cream cloth trim and gold inlay. Provenance: Private collector NSW. Accompanied with COA from Ron Coles Investment Gallery and $11,000 valuation (1992).

Bio
D'Arcy Doyle was an Australian Postwar & Contemporary painter who was born in 1932. He created many wistful images of his homeland Australia, and, in particular, scenes depicting the Australian outback. D'Arcy W. Doyle's artwork was painted in a realist style, and often contained scenes of children playing outside and rural images of people working the land. He started out creating murals and signs, yet artist D'Arcy W. Doyle had no formal training before embarking on a successful career as full-time artist.
