Andrew J. Sibley (Australia, 1933-2015). An original Intaglio etching and aquatint, printed in black ink with plate-tone, from one plate by Australian Print Workshop. Titled "Executive in Love", (1997) this is a limited edition of only 25, this being number 14/25. This exceptional artwork has been signed, dated, titled & numbered in the margin below the image and has the APW embossed stamp. Newly framed in matt black with floating lithograph and superb double mat, this is really such an under rated and exceptional piece of art that rarely sees the art market, particularly in this condition. Exceptional value here!

Bio
Andrew John Sibley (9 July 1933 – 3 September 2015) was an English-born Australian artist. From his early success in the 1960s Andrew Sibley consistently exhibited throughout Australia and internationally. His work is represented in all major national, state and regional collections in Australia as well as private collections in Australia, Europe, Asia and the United States. Over his 58-year career as an artist, Sibley achieved strong commercial and critical success as well as recognition as a finalist or being awarded numerous major art prizes. Sibley has been the subject of three books and is commonly listed in histories and encyclopedias of Australian art as a significant figurative painter of the mid and late 20th century
