Kevin Charles (Pro) Hart, (1928 - 2006). A superb original oil painting on board by an Australian iconic art legend. This is a wonderful example from the shearing series with vibrant colours throughout. Titled 'The Wool Shed' the artwork has been signed and dated lower left 'Pro Hart' (1977). A large sized piece for the discerning art collector. The frame is the traditional 1970's gold gilt frame with double white and navy blue pin mat board. Both the painting and artwork are in excellent condition. Provenance: Private collector Yarra Valley VIC.

Bio
Kevin Charles "Pro" Hart, MBE (30 May 1928 – 28 March 2006), was an Australian artist, born in Broken Hill, New South Wales, who was considered the father of the Australian Outback painting movement and his works are widely admired for capturing the true spirit of the outback. He grew up on his family's sheep farm in Menindee, New South Wales and was nicknamed "Professor" (hence "Pro") during his younger days, when he was known as an inventor.
